Seamless Visa Application: Your Gateway to Bhutan Just a Step Away.
Visa Information for Bhutan Travelers.
All visitors to Bhutan require a visa, with exceptions for citizens of India, Bangladesh, and the Maldives. For the latter group, specific processes and fees are outlined separately.
As part of the visa application process, a Sustainable Development Fee (SDF) of US$100 per day (per adult, with concessionary rates for children) is mandatory. Further details about the SDF can be found here. Additionally, a non-refundable, one-time visa application fee of US$40 is applicable.
Visa or permit applications can be completed online by filling out the application form. If you’re traveling with a tour operator or staying at a hotel, they can handle the application on your behalf.
